The High School Cross Country teams had two big showings in the Kanawha County Meet, October 14. The girls finished first in the county with a 2nd place finish from Aurelia Kirby. She was followed with a 3rd place finish from Hannah Fisher. The boys had a 2nd place finish in the meet. They were led by Isaac Collins in 5th, followed by Nicholas Shaf in 6th. County awards were presented to Hilton Ingraham, Coach of the Year, Isaac Collins, Freshman of the Year, and Aurelia Kirby, Freshman of the Year. The teams will head to regionals, October 21. Good Luck in the postseason to both teams!
