Thr high school girls basketball team is off to a terrific start. They are 2-1 through their first three games falling to Winfield in a tough battle where it came down to the fourth quarter. In the other two games, they took down AAA Sissonville and AAA Scott. The girls return two starters, Claire Mullen and Annie Cimino, who look to use their experience to help out the others. The Lady Irish are backed by Katherine Skinner and Chloe Clark, who have seen quality minutes in their time with the program. Five seniors lead the Irish through the 2021-2022 season. Kayla Lucas, Chloe Clark, Anna Kate Ward, and Chloe Greathouse join the team back for their fourth season, along with first year player, Vivian Delgra. The team is led this year by returning coaches, Wes Hevener and Kenny Butler. They are joined by new assistant coach, Catherine Bandak. Good luck to the Lady Irish this year!
